purples
Spent the last couple days going from this:
to this:
It has a lot of nice colors in it, but overall, it's sort of more darker than I'd hoped. The grape color really overpowered it all. Maybe adding one of the berry (blue) colors to the cherry would produce a nicer purple? Anyhow, I still like the way there are tons of different hues within it. And it's much more interesting to spin than colored roving, that's for sure! :)
Now I need to finally finish that Debbie Bliss Cardigan.. Yet another month has passed and I am still not done. Sad! Maybe it'll be finished in time for their second child? Anyhow, THIS WEEKEND I'll try. I really don't mind seaming. What is my problem!?

Oh, I love the yarn it spun into! All this spinning is gonna make me even more rabid to get a wheel. And to think I told DH not to get me one for our Anniversary! How dumb can I be?

I'm just itching to get a house so I'd have space for more toys.. somehow, even a largeish two bedroom is getting crowded for the two of us- and most of it is my yarn/fabric/wool!
