wedding planning? it sucks. We hauled ourselves at the last minute out to Boyds, MD to attend an "open house" at a possible wedding/reception venue. Got slightly excited when they appeared to have drinks and snacks at this open house... only, no. no drinks. no snacks. private party. yeah. So still no idea about details and important stuff. It is pretty far from our cozy old Silver Spring, so maybe it's a sign? It was nice inside though.. big and lodgy. but no flowers, and the outside was like a big grassy backyard. not enough?

Our frontrunner, Mrs. K's Tollhouse, is mostly great. And slighytly affordable, probably. The only bad thing is that if there are more than 72 people, we'll have two rooms, separated by a few steps and some windows. just sort of annoying, for those people stuck on top. (who makes the "A" list and sits below?) it's also about a quarter to half mile walk to metro, so people could stay downtown and walk... or stagger back to hotels. and the outside, where the ceremony would be? pretty pretty lowers everywhere. and a fountain and pond. getting very hard to beat. what to do?

I feel like I've probably talked about this already in my blog.. maybe not? I don't remember anymore.. if so, sorry... wedding talk is so super boring. sigh. I just wanna sign a check and be done with it!

in running news: ran 31 minutes sunday, and 4 miles (mostly) yesterday.. about 51 minutes. 4 miles here I come!  ¶ 19:51
