  sallie may kiss mine.
so, um... last week or two? haven't been able to check the old sallie mae loan. odd, since I've always been able to check exactly how much interest is accruing as I take (not quite) lavish european vacations in lieu of paying it off.

I finally call them, and guess what? no longer servicing my loan! Thanks for telling me. Thank god I didn't send another check. Fuckers. Also, call center? Not the USA. Couldn't understand so much the guy was telling me, and he had no idea what I was asking. Way to go Sallie Mae. You suck! Moral of the story? DON'T TAKE OUT LOANS! Note to self: No chance we're affording a house any time soon. Pay that *&$%er off. Now. I don't know who these ACS people are, but as soon as they deign to tell me, I'm paying that puppy off.

In less hostile news... have new ideas, new goals in knitting... want to start finishing stuff! To be organized with my knitting! I just purchased this bookcase from a certain swedish store... and despite not having instructions (and outdated instructions emailed to me later) managed to stick it together with only 6 or 7 important looking metal brackets left over. ??? Anyhow, I'm organizing yarn and fabric and paper and.. and... more stuff! It will be a new me.

So- been knitting a few rows a day on Rogue- maybe 10 rows from where the front and back split! Woo! And finished this for a friend who ordered it... jeez, like a month ago.. but it is SO cute! I do hope it's worth it.. it's for his little goddaughter!
