  12 days to go!
less than 2 weeks until Crafty Bastards. Eeeeek!! I still have so much to do it seems. This is some of the most recent bounty (it *is* talk like a pirate day, no?), but there. are. more. hats. They just magically appear once I cast on. I SWEAR. It must be a magic gift- am I meant to hat the world? I am sooo loving hats right now.

except the pumpkin ones. those I am hating. them and their cottony cashmere. cashmere shmashmere. I do not like cotton, no matter what other fancy animal fiber is spun with it. I will still try the manos sort of cotton to see if it reconciles the fiber for me, but this? I just do not like! why can't cotton be friendly? this is all stringy if I dare to mis-poke my needle, and I am convinced it doesn't make my hands feel great. though that may be attributed to all the other hats, so it's on the maybe list.

Anyhow... spinning. this is why I love dyeing! so many pretty colors! I think I will try and sell this one at some crazy high price, since I love it so much and wouldn't be sad for it to stick around. could make some swell mittens and a hat, maybe. hmmm. so many colors!
