foto-less
I've had a distinct lack of desire to take photos these days, though I have actually been working on stuff. I don't know- sifting through hundreds and hudreds of wedding photos has worn me out! Also, we just started a fund to buy a digital SLR so my little old camera has lost it's luster!
The night market was okay, though I really didn't so much like the sitting outside on the hottest day of the year bit of it. I need to remember that! I could have sat inside spinning all day instead! Hmph.
I have been spinning, once again! I finally found back my mojo or whatever it is. Fell in love with my wheel again? Well, not quite, but I am contemplating buying a bulky plying head for it since I can't really justify getting rid of it for a shinier model. And my husband will *not* let me be a multiple wheel sort of girl! (I agree, til we have our mcmansion, at least!) So I will try and get photos of gorgeous spinning soon. I have a whole box of yarns waiting to be washed and labeled.
I've also been knitting. And trying to finish projects. I think I have just about all of my "want to finish already and move on" projects in one box, and have tentatively decided that I need to finish two for each new project I start. Some are so easy- finishing thumbs, sewing shut a seam, weaving in a couple ends. Why do they linger?!
I'm also starting to get into fall craft fair mode- starting new hats and mittens and whatnots. And a pinwheel baby blanket that I think will really be neat- it's using the scrappies from a bunch of the sock yarns I've dyed in the last few months. I'm pretending it's for a friend's impending child, but we will see how fast I knit it.
