100 degree knitting
Man it is hot!
Here is some cuteness for cooler weather... hope we all don't melt first! ;)
Baby hat made from handspun leftover bits. I am flying through my bump of merino roving faster than I can dye it! Love the merino!
More of the same handspun... mitts for cooler days (or for when the AC is cranked down to 60!)
Pinwheel blanket, using sock yarn scraps leftover from dyeing. I am nearly out of yarns incorporating lime and yellow, so need to decide what to go to next! maybe I'll dye some solid lime!
I spun this yarn last Sunday. It's a silk-merino mix. I don't exactly love silk, and thought the end-product looked AWFUL - underspun in bits, overspun in other bits. I didn't want to sell it, so thought I'd make some mitts. But OH MY GOSH I am in love with the silk-merino! So damned soft and lovely!!! I am not sure I will be able to part with the finished mitts! I do have another skein still, but.... ;)
