  rocking the voting
My county appears to be one of the incompetent ones this go around! Eek! We will be voting after work. Hopefully they'll have worked it out before then!

We will *not* be voting for the candidates who have spamed us inthe past few months... note to candidates: Really? more than one flyer a DAY per person listed on our address? This particular person also left THREE MESSAGES on our answering machine, one of which was just noisy incomprehensible gibberish. Blah.

And speaking of answering machine messages: please don't discuss abortions on MY MACHINE! Really? Actually I don't need to hear how your friend is so pro-life, whether I believe in that or not! Just not what I need to hear after a long drive home from Massachusetts.

Massachusetts: we drank and breweried and pet animals and watched weddings and drove and yarned and visited people. I hit several yarn shops, and bought some yarn I didn't need but wanted to try. Will write about it soonish.

For now, VOTE (if you live in DC/MD, at least!)!!

UPDATE: Make that a whopping FOUR messages on our machine! Jeez. Yeah, we voted for the other guy! Also, though polls were open til 9, after 8 (when we arrived) we could only use paper ballots. We had to wait longer for them to fill out stuff. But- we met some people from our building there, so that was nice. However, our votes will only be counted Monday, if at all. At least they are in, eh?
