  grumble grumble
So the entire federal government is shut down Tuesday for the funeral of President Ford. We will most likely have to come in to work. Or work from home. At least I can get a coffee and ice cream, I suppose.

I finished another of my languishing projects... redoing the tops of some toe-up koigu socks I'd knit long ago. Ugliest colorway ever- what was I thinking? But, I ripped out the cast off edge, added some k1p1 ribbing, and did a kitchener bind off. So lovely and stretchy.

If you look closer, you'll notice that one sock has a K2P2 ribbing and the other has a K2P1 ribbing. wtf? I don't remember why I did that. I guess I am punk rock like that.

I feel so much more at ease finally crossing some of these damn projects off my list.. why have I not done them before?! Partly I have no attention span but part of it is because we are looking at homes to buy, and I want to pare down as much as possible before lugging stuff to a new place. Finish old projects, toss what I don't need. I guess it also all goes with the whole new years thing, but in my head it's been going on for more than a month. Use up what I have before starting new things.

Makin' devil's horns with mah hands: "Rock on!"
(sock on! yeah! WhOOOOOOooooOOOOOooH!)

Colourway doesn't look like a mistake from where I'm sitting, looks like a great red. The accent color distribution, eh, maybe not so much, but dude, they look like comfy happy feet.

Happy househunting, I wish you luck !

You think that is an ugly colorway check out this STR x-mas rocks socks.
