fresh starts! (and a coupon!)
My mind has been reeling the past few weeks.. recovering from holidays, celebrating, cooking cooking cooking! We had a great christmas and are finally catching up on sleep (and starting to eat healthier!)... still haven't written all my xmas cards, but I am getting there.
Our big gift to ourselves this year was a new camera! My little canon has been slowing down lately, and woolarina totally needed something new!
Super excited! Best gift ever! (even if I'm paying for half! ;)
Now that craft fair season is mostly done (though maybe there's something in February?), I've finally had time to work on MY projects! I finished a pair of socks so far, and am knitting the neck band on a husband sweater. One entire sleeve finished in the past few days. I'm hoping to get it sewn up in 2007 still! Pictures soon.

Ornament Sets!
The ornament drive has been a success so far! We have raised almost $200 so far... and for people that don't live nearby... well, you get a chance to get some rad homemade ornaments as well! Since we had a bunch left over, we decided to put our little etsy shop to good use!
These mittens are my favorites. (I already got one!)

Tomorrow!
One more day of making! One more day of squishing every yarn I can into boxes and bags! One more day to bake cookies and brownies and other snacks! We are all crazy excited about tomorrow - we even have some press! Dcist, Washington Post, ads in the City Paper, and a bunch of other local lists! :)

catching my breath!
I feel sort of lame to be tired after a single show. So many people I know did Bust in NYC and Squidfire, or Bust and the Rock and Shop at the Black Cat, or all three! I mean, really - a day in Baltimore is nothing to be tired about!
Still - work is busy, as is making stuff. Adding to that cookie baking, as we will have free delicious snacks at our craft fair! So I am ready to sleep but am letting the shortening warm up instead!
I'm starting to get ornaments in the mail and in person for the ornament drive! So excited! They are so cute!!! I will post photos tomorrow!

Squidfire tomorrow! And ornaments!!!
Don't forget to check out the Squidfire Show tomorrow in Baltimore! There will be many fine vendors for this craft fair!
